Music Video Dance, LLC owner Mark Weintz has a long history with, and love of, music and music videos. Growing up in the 80’s he would rush home from school everyday to flip back and forth between MTV, VH1, and BET for hours at a time to watch all the greatest music videos of the day. No genre was off limits then, or now. After growing up scratching 45’s on the home stereo and making mix-tapes on cassettes, Mark majored in Radio Broadcasting at Rogers State University, where he hosted two weekly radio shows: Tuesday Night Dance Sensation and a Drive at Five. Mark’s entry into live DJ’ing began in the year 2000 in Portland, OR, spinning Trance and Drum & Bass vinyl records around town at various clubs and events. It was around this time that Mark successfully DJ’d his first wedding party. Fast forward through the decade-plus of focusing on solo albums and playing drums in bands, Mark found himself once again impassioned with DJ’ing in 2015. This is when the music video collection started growing and the seeds were planted for Music Video Dance, LLC. Since then, Mark has performed various events in Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Tulsa, OK, and Fayetteville, AR, including DJ’ing the fashion show of a former Project Runway contestant, an awards ceremony for Toni & Guy Hair Academy, his second wedding party, Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony, plus a couple of his themed Music Video Dance Parties.
